Interact Club Officers Attend District Conference

On Thursday, October 8, the Interact club officers, Preston Hill, Cameryn McClean, and Lola Mitchell, attended the Annual Interact District Conference at the Greensburg Country Club. Lola Mitchell currently serves on the student board of directors for our area. Our officers had the opportunity to learn about community service projects by attending breakout sessions on Rotary Youth Exchange, The Peace Pole Project, ShelterBox USA, Build-A-Chair Foundation, Pawsitive Impact Therapy Dogs, etc. The students will take what they’ve learned and put it into action this school year. This was a wonderful experience for our Interact officers.
