Summer food Announcement 2026

The summer food program will be in operation in the Laurel Highlands School District from June 8, 2026, until August 14, 2026. Meals will be provided at Laurel Highlands Senior High, Laurel Highlands Middle School, and Hutchinson Elementary. All children under 18 can receive free breakfast and lunch. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, and lunch will be available from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at all three district locations. Students must enter the cafeteria to eat their meals. In addition, we will be operating a Grab and Go location at Clark from 11:00 to 12:00, for which you must sign up. Text messages will go out a week ahead of time for you to reserve your meals. Adults can purchase breakfast for $3.00 and lunch for $4.85. Menus will be posted on the LHSD.org website under the cafeteria section. Meals for walk-ins are served on a first-come, first-served basis. Other open sites can be found at www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks or by calling

Other open sites are: Laurel Highlands Senior High, Laurel Highlands Middle School,

Hatfield Elementary, Uniontown YMCA, and Penn State Fayette.

Other Enrolled and/or closed sites are: Miss Honeys Learning Center, Rainbow

Dreams, New Directions, The Boy Scouts of America Day Camp, JPO, Berean 7th Day

Adventist Church, Shawna’s Early Learning Center, and Cove Run Church.

letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant's name, address,

telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in

sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the

nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter
