On Thursday, September 25, 2025, Danielle Hockenberry generously donated a Life Vac, which is a chocking rescue device, to LH High School. She presented it to Mr. Richard Barron, along with instructions on how to use it. Last year, Danielle's 6-year-old son, Owen, unexpectantly passed away from chocking on a piece food. Since then, Danielle and her husband Dustin have become advocates for first responders, day cares, and schools to have a Life Vac device on hand. The students, faculty, and staff of the high school want to offer our sincerest thanks and appreciation for the donation of this important piece of equipment.
