Mr. Justin Ward, a Life Skills teacher at the high school, was recently named by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as one of 12 finalists for the 2024 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year.
Mr. Ward has been a teacher in the district for over 18 years and has held various positions during that time. Mr. Ward is humbled by this honor and believes that he is only one of many amazing educators here at Laurel Highlands.
The 2024 PA Teacher of the Year will be announced at the SAS conference this December.
