News from the Laurel Highlands School District

Starting today-Tuesday, November 25 th -change in tip-time for boys’ 7 th  and 8 th grade home basketball games.   All home games played at Laurel Highlands Middle School will start at 4:00 p.m. (previously they were scheduled for 3:30 pm tip-off).

On November 20, 2025, students from LH High School attended the UPMC Pathways for Students Career Education Event, held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, in Pittsburgh. Attendees traveled from booth to booth, where they participated in hands-on activities, and learned about life-changing career opportunities with UPMC. The trip, sponsored by UPMC, included students and teachers from Mrs. Hospodavis, Mrs. Sholtis, and Mr. Livingston's science classes, as well as Mrs.

Our Interact Club would like to give a huge shoutout to everyone who has donated to Booties for Babies, led by Sophia Bator.  Because of your generosity, we’re helping provide new and unused baby items for newborns and families in need through WVU Uniontown Hospital. The 2025-2026 Interact Board of Directors met virtually on September 29 to go over all of the applications submitted to serve either a one or two-year term for the 2026-2027 Rotary Year. We are pleased to announce that one of our LH Interact officers, Lola Mitchell, was selected as an At-Large Director for our area.
