Dear Parents/Guardians, Students, Staff, and Community of the Laurel Highlands School District,
To ensure the safety and enhance the educational value of the Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024, the Pennsylvania Department of Education recommends an early release schedule for that day. To that end, the Laurel Highlands School District will operate on a two (2) hour early release for students on April 8, 2024. Additionally, all after-school activities will be canceled for the day.
