RW Clark Elementary's Heartwarming Visit to WVU Medicine
At RW Clark Elementary, the spirit of giving back is deeply ingrained in our values. Recently, we had the wonderful opportunity to extend a helping hand to our community through our Dime Drive fundraiser. Today, we're excited to share the heartwarming outcome of our efforts.
With immense gratitude to all who contributed, we're thrilled to announce that we were able to provide soft, huggable teddy bears to the Emergency Room at WVU Uniontown Hospital. These furry companions are more than just toys; they serve as sources of comfort and solace for children facing the uncertainties of a hospital visit.
Our remarkable 5th graders played a pivotal role in this initiative. With dedication and enthusiasm, they tirelessly assisted in tagging nearly a hundred cuddly friends, ensuring that each bear was ready to bring joy to its new owner. But their involvement didn't stop there—these compassionate students personally delivered the bears to the hospital, spreading warmth and kindness every step of the way.
As educators, we couldn't be prouder of our students and their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact within their community. Through their actions, they've not only provided comfort to those in need but have also demonstrated the power of empathy and generosity.
