Dear Laurel Highlands family,
The (SFP: 10-14) starts October 12th& October 14th. SFP 10-14 games and activities focus on supporting family communication, appreciating family members, having fun together, handling stress, dealing with peer pressure, and much more. Using SFP 10-14 to fine tune family communication with a changing teen can help lessen stress at home in this currently challenging time.
The parent(s)/caregiver(s)and their LHSD student(s), age 10-14, are encouraged to take advantage of this great program.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Strengthening Families Program will be delivered differently. We will be holding the program VIRTUALLY through Zoom.
Monday evenings the Youth session will run from 6pm – 7pm and Wednesday evenings the Parents session will run from 6pm – 7pm followed by the Family session from 7:15pm – 8:15pm. The program will conclude the week of November 23rd and November 25th.
Classes will be limited. The first 15 families to register will be accepted for the Fall program. It will fill quickly so don’t miss out. Register today by emailing me (mzg226@psu.edu) ALL the following information:
